Fantastic food and service
Nice pub with friendly staff. Real fireplaces throughout that do get used. Table service. Low beam ceilings, very country pub. Lovely beer garden that does not have ugly traffic in your face. Little play area next to loos for young kids with 2 chairs for parents. The toilets are badly in need of updating and the menu is not extensive as advertised but it is nice. The side orders for some odd reason are not on the menu. Portions were big. the peas were piping hot which is something that I have not experienced in other places so it was nice. The tables need a coat of varnish. I would go back.
