Really good dentists let down by woefully bad admin staff,i was on benefits and had treatment when later i received a threatening letter from the NHS saying i was defrauding them,i had to prove that i had done nothing wrong and although Oasis admitted the mistake to me they never apologized, the next time i went i made sure i DID pay even though there was no need as i was still on benefits yes thats right i payed even though i did not need to, guess what happened? yes i received yet another letter from the NHS saying the same thing, Oasis claimed that i must have ticked a box on the form for this to happen, why the hell would i do that when i was being so careful to make sure there was no repeat of before suffice to say i again received no explanation or apology in fact the receptionist was quite surly and said it was not their fault and "someone else did it" complete shower of idiots and a disgrace to the nhs.
very poor got told 4.50 for appointment then when i got there was told i was 10 mins late when i told them i was told 4.50 thay called me a liar and then after being made to sit waiting for 40 min went to complain an then lucy at reception thought she would start getting angry and started to shout at my partner
The worst place to consider if you have a dental emergency.
SHOCKING. My young daughter needed referring for corrective work. I was told 4 times she had been referred to the hospital. After 4 months of hearing nothing, I contacted the hospital to be told they hadn't received a referral. We now need to start the process from scratch. Hopefully my daughter won't suffer too much from the consequences.
One star is being generous! Reception staff majorly rude today (blonde woman with glasses) had a filling at 9am that started causing electric shocks in my mouth at 10am. Phoned them straight back to be told they would get dentist to call me straight back once he had finished with a patient. Got to 12.15pm and still no call back and it has worsened as i could not eat drink and barely talk due to the amount of shocks and pain. So my husband phoned them back for me to find out that they'd never passed my message over in the first place and told to come and wait as dentist was due back from lunch at 1. So I got there for 1 to be told too late his lunch 1 til 2 and to come back at 2. When told that this isn't what was said on phone blonde receptionist got up tight and called both me and my husband a liar and to "deal with it" when stating that it was not good enough and how id been diabetic and was dangerous for sugar levels she proceeded to shrug her shoulders and said "i dont care its your own fault" went back at 2 to have Martin remove the filling as i had had a reaction to the metal and had to have a medicated filling put in but told I had to go back see him no later than 3 weeks as could cause nerve damage. She then proceeded to tell me that fully booked until 3 months later! And had cheek to threaten me saying if i speak to her again she will remove my details from the system! This was after she had told me i wasnt entitled to eat as i dont work (baring in mind i work FULL TIME from home SELF EMPLOYED CARD PACKER!) Claire however was very apologetic and even tried to solve the problem. Blondy however needs a training course in customer service and needs knocking down a peg or two! Seeking another dentist tuesday when bank holiday is over. Have lodged a complaint via Facebook and well be placing one Tuesday to the surgeries practise manager as this behaviour in staff and her customer service is certainly not acceptable. And if my nerve does get damaged i will be personally suing her for every penny she has! Including the company!
