Small museum, with lots of interesting items. Great if you are a railway buff. No cafe or facilities

Brilliant day out for young and old, access to all was accommodating. Peppa pig event, face painting and travelling cycling magician 'good luck on your adventure shortly raising money pedalling g around the coast line of Britain.' The staff all volunteers are more than happy to be around those enjoying what they provide for the public my little boy was ecstatic having a photo shoot done with train operatives and a chance to stand inside the steam engine. Top marks to all there brilliant

Nice nostalgic experience with locomotives chuffing in and out. At first, I thought it must be where you go to get n'apple or n'orange but it's where you go to get steaming and it's really good. It looks like an old station but apparently it was built by the railway preservers. My friends and I like it. We got on, chuffed off, then chuffed back again. Several times. The little museum next to the gift shop is pretty interesting.

Great place to visit and have a ride on the steam train with a nice hot mince pie as well

Small and friendly railway thats great for both enthusiasts and tourists. Some lovely scenery and a really nice walk from Lydney Junction down to the old harbour along a good path and with fantastic views across the Severn to the bridge and Sharpness. Also had a nice lunch at the Miners Arms in Whitecroft. The day rover ticket is terrific value as you can spend the whole day travelling up and down the line stopping off at each of the stations and having a wander around. The railway museum at Norchard is also well worth a visit.
