Lovely site. Toilets are clean. Kids loved the pool. Lovely walks for the dogs in the woods. If you have a twin axle caravan I would not stay on the Dell pitches as not long enough. But the meadow pitches looked alot better. Definitely going back
Never New the place exsisted until my wife found it on the internet what a incredible place it is the staff are very helpful and the site is lovely and to top it of the food was amazing look after that chef top Mark's who ever put there trust in putting all that together should be very proud well done
First visit here. Would recommend for a holiday. I did feel the bar was overpriced as was some of the food. The entertainment wasn't great but feel its a bit hit and miss with these things and we went out of season so was lucky to have entertainment at all. The sunday carvery was amazing and worth the money. Staff were very helpful. Will return.
I booked 2 nights here in an XL pod for my partners birthday. We arrived in the dark and were given a key, no key card as is the norm as they were having issues, a simple map and directions of how to find our pod, we struggled due to the lack of signs/lighting but got there eventually. Then we parked up and grabbed our things to make the short walk to the pod to find our key wasn't unlocking the door. We couldn't call for assistance with our mobiles due to lack of signal so we had to carry our stuff back to the car and find an on site phone. Help arrived fast and we were soon in. The food and facilities for the duration were excellent, the food especially was a long wait but worth it. On one occasion our order was incorrect but that was quickly rectified. And a burger each, pizza to share with a couple of sides came to 48, so it certainly added up. Then came time to leave. You must vacate by 1000 which was a bit earlier than we would have liked. And on leaving ourself and another vehicle were confused as to the directions in which we could drive! It really isn't clear enough. A staff member with a leaf blower just shouted that we couldn't drive down a certain way and wasn't very helpful at all. She then laughed at us for the direction we were facing and then proceeded to talk to the other confused vehicle. At this point I had to wait for my partner to drop the key off but I was left in a bit of a limbo with nowhere to park my car so I had to stop on a corner and wait for her to come back quickly so we could leave.ProsTasty foodNice little shopGood facilities ConsStaff could have been more useful/friendlyExpensive restaurant Early Check out Poor directions/signage for roads
Absolutely lovely park. 100% family orientated and in a lovely location. A local post office can use for cheap foods and cash withdrawals. The park has modern clean facilities which are big and ideal for everyone. The extra activities can become costly but are great for the children. Swimming pool is lovely, clean changing rooms. Great places near by including The highway rat trail which is set in a lovely park. The park also has a great free nature trail quiz to follow. Great entertainments team and good evening entertainment and bingo is done in house which is simple and accurate money given to winners straight away. Overall a great family orientated place especially for active families. Fantastic pitch sizes and even for non electric grass close to the main building, pitches are set places not random pitches. Fantastic setting and peaceful, everyone obeyed the quiet time rule.
