It was our first time staying in the Forest of Dean and I don't think we could have found a better B&B if we tried.Chris and Nigel run a fantastic place - its so peaceful and quiet, they are wonderfully helpful and the breakfast is fantastic.The B&B is situated perfectly for long walks across the Forest and the pub two doors down (The Woodman Inn) is friendly and serves fantastic pub food, (Great veggies options too....)Thank you very much Chris for all your help and kindness during our stay - we will definitely be back...James and Suzy

A wonderful family run business. The room was excellent with plenty of tea and coffee for use. The bed and bedding was top quality. A great breakfast cooked to order.
This is the most charming Bed and Breakfast you've been dreaming of. The room and the bathroom are very clean - the soaps and lotions of a nice natural brand and the proprietors Chris and Nigel are the most caring and sweet people. Chris cooks a rocking breakfast with a nice vegetarian selection. Everything is fresh and tasty. I have been back several times and can highly recommend it to anyone visiting the magical wonderful Forest of Dean.
Beautiful. Charming and great location! This is the best place in the Forrest of Dean. Breakfast is very good and Chris and Nigel are very friendly, welcoming and have a good sense of humor.
